UC Cooperative Extension

University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) has worked in partnership with the County of Humboldt and served the local community since it was founded in 1913. As the name indicates, Cooperative Extension is affiliated with University of California. Counties have Extension offices throughout the state. UCCE is dedicated to improving the quality of life of Californians by developing and delivering research-based information in agriculture and natural resources, and by supporting healthy families and communities.

Purpose of UCCE

To accomplish our mission we partner with Humboldt and Del Norte Counties to offer practical solutions to life's problems, connecting the issues to the informational resources of the University of California and provided trusted research-based solutions.

Auditorium Reservations

The auditorium is available for use by other county departments. UCCE programs have priority in booking events. Reservations may not be made more than two months in advance. Reservations must be made by calling Leslie Cannafax, Executive Secretary, at 707-445-7351 or emailing her at lacannafax@ucanr.edu.
