The Quality Management Services unit (or QMS) was formerly known as the Integrated Services and Support unit. QMS is comprised of 4 different areas. Those areas are as follows: Compliance, Privacy and Security, Research and Evaluation, and Workforce Development. The Compliance Unit reviews audits and their findings as well as collaborates with the DHHS Divisions in making sure staff adhere to statutes, regulations, and other program requirements. Privacy/Security is tasked with making sure there is a program in place around adherence to HIPAA and other Privacy or Confidentiality requirements. R&E collects data to conduct program evaluations for the purpose of quality assessment and improvement for the Department's evidence-based programs. Workforce Development works on projects and services to promote opportunities for staff to gain skills that complement the work they do.
