The Voter's Choice Act requires Humboldt County to draft and publish an Election Administration Plan (EAP). The EAP is finalized in collaboration with community stakeholders.
The EAP must include information about how our office plans to conduct voter outreach and education, with specific outreach on the vote center model of running elections. EAP requirements are set forth in Elections Code Section 4005(a)(10). The California Secretary of State also provides voters with educational information about the VCA.
Once the EAP is finalized at the county level, the voter outreach plan is submitted to the California Secretary of State for approval.
