Appointing Power
Board of Supervisors (BOS)
Members
Fifteen (15) – The Supervisor of each district shall appoint three (3) members (not required to live in district). Service is at the pleasure of the BOS. The BOS
may appoint up to five (5) associate non-voting members that serve at the pleasure of the Board.
Qualifications
Interest in county issues regarding fishing and game hunting.
Term
Terms expire on June 30
th - Four (4) year staggered terms (District 1, 2, 3 and District 4, 5 expire 3 years apart).
Function
Established to serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors in all matters concerning fish and wildlife within the County of Humboldt.
