2018 Summer Reading - Reading Takes You Everywhere

Children play among the branches of a tree, big smiles on their faces.

Summer Reading is a Breeze

Stop by the library and pick up a reading log.  Read books and win prizes.  For kids, the biggest hidden prize of all is how easy it is to go back to school in the fall if you keep getting better with word skills over the summer!  Adults and teens will find reading challenges available to them as well.

Craft Adventures

Every Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m., enjoy an afternoon of free arts and crafts related to our summer theme, Reading Takes You Everywhere!

Visit the library for paper weaving, mini-book making, and more. We'll also have kids' travel-related and discovery activities, such as paper airplanes and Legos.

Children fold paper, sail a matchbox boat, and play with lego.
