Regular Meetings
The Humboldt County Fire Safe Council meets four times per year. Beginning in May 2023, all meetings will be held in-person at the UC Cooperative Extension Office at 5630 S. Broadway, Eureka unless otherwise noticed.
HCFSC voting members must attend in-person. Every effort will be made to establish a remote option for members of the public and remote (non-voting) participation by members otherwise unable to attend in-person. Remote access information is included with the 2023 Meeting Schedule.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting is posted to the Agenda Center close to the meeting date. Past meeting materials and minutes are also accessible in the Agenda Center. Sign-up for email or text alerts when an agenda or meeting minutes are posted using Notify Me.
A video recording of the most recent meeting is available on the Public Works - Natural Resources channel.
Periodically, the Board of Supervisors passes a resolution to renew the FSC, recognizing that community-based fire planning efforts assist residents in making their homes, neighborhoods, and communities fire safe; the resolution is updated as needed to allow for changes in membership.
