Library Update - Welcome to Express Service!

Wear your mask and come in! As a step toward full reopening, Arcata Library now welcomes you for Express Service (short in-library visits). Please read about what Express Service is and how it works before your visit, and see Arcata's  Express Service Hours in the Contact Us section of this page. Of course, Curbside Delivery is still an option if you prefer it.

Free and open to all families, geared to young children.

A Call to Yarns

Fridays at 12:00 noon

Knit, chat, relax. Bring the project you’ve been neglecting or your fresh ideas for a new piece. Maybe you’ll even learn something new! All levels of experience are welcome.

Young Adult Book Group

3rd Thursday of Each Month at 6:00 PM (Zoom)

The Young Adult Book Group is for readers aged 12 to 19. It's currently a zoom discussion, run by Larissa of the Tin Can Mailman Bookstore and cosponsored by Arcata Library. Contact us ahead of time to get your copy and an invitation and be ready to go each month!  822-5954.

Readers who are 18 years and older are welcome to drop in to A Novel Idea Book Club. Branch librarian Susan chooses titles that are relatively new award-winners and available in paperback. Call the library to request your copy of the book for curbside pickup, and to get your Zoom invitation.
