Treasurer - Tax Collector 

The primary purpose of the Treasurer - Tax Collector is to collect, manage, invest and redistribute county revenue.  To this end, we are responsible for mailing property tax bills and collecting the amount due that is computed by the Auditor-Controller, based on the taxable value of the property determined by the Assessor.  We provide banking and investment services to all County departments as well as Humboldt County’s community college, schools and special districts.
