[ARCHIVED] Poll workers needed for Nov. 6 General Election

Poll Workers

The Humboldt County Office of Elections is looking for Poll Workers for the upcoming Statewide General Election on November 6.


Position Needed

Clerks (team members)


Clerks

Clerks open and close the polls, issue ballots, keep track of who has voted, and, in some polling places where we have multiple precincts, serve as traffic directors guiding voters to the right precinct board. Clerks earn a base stipend of $91.


Eligible Poll Workers must be a:

1. Registered voter,

2. Legal permanent resident, or

3. High school student age 16 or older with a 2.5 GPA.


Estimated Hours: 6 am – 10 pm, plus setup. School of Instruction training required.
