[ARCHIVED] Upcoming FPPC campaign training opportunities

Do you want to know more about filing campaign statements (CA Form 460 etc) and statements of economic interests (CA Form 700)? Do you wonder what is reportable or when it needs to be reported? Are you the filing officer for your organization? Well, the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) has some good news for you!

In August the FPPC is offering two free webinar training opportunities, including:
- Information for Local Candidates, Office Holders, and Campaign Committees
- Campaign Filing Officer Duties

Details for these webinar training opportunities are provided below.

WEBINAR: Information for Local Candidates, Office Holders, and Campaign Committees
Date: Wednesday, August 3, 2016
Time: 12 (noon) – 1:30 p.m. (PST)
Topics covered: initial campaign activities, contributions and expenditures, reporting, advertising disclaimers, and post-election tasks.
Who should attend?
- Candidates
- Treasurers
- Campaign committee members
- Office holders
- Persons required to file CA Form 700 – Statement of Economic Interests
- Persons required to file CA Form 460 – Campaign Statement (or other campaign-related forms)
