[ARCHIVED] Courthouse Seismic Repairs

Mural

Beginning today at 5 pm, construction crews will be setting up scaffolding to repair damage to the murals on the Courthouse caused by recent earthquakes. The scaffolding will be arranged over the Courthouse entrance on the 5th street side of the building, and over the exit on the 4th street side. The scaffolding structures will be in place for approximately 3 months.

In addition, a blue boom will be stationed in the parking lot in front of the law library (4th street side). It will take up a little more than one parking space and will stay there during the week. It will move to the dirt parking lot on the weekends. While the boom is parked in front of the law library, appropriate Sheriff’s Office personnel can still park behind and next to it as it won’t move until the weekend.
