There will be a presentation on Mental Health Parity on Tuesday, April 14 from 1:00-2:00 in the Large Meeting Room at the Humboldt County Library. Laura Reich, attorney for Disability Rights California will discuss their work on reducing mental health stigma and discrimination faced by people with psychiatric disabilities. She will focus on reducing stigma and discrimination and suggest how to encourage the provision of services in the community.
