Fly Humboldt has raised over $1 million for a minimum revenue guarantee, which can be used to help secure more flights to more destinations, including a direct route to LAX, our number one priority. This local funding can also be combined with an additional $750,000 the County has available through a grant from the federal Small Communities Air Service Development Program to serve additional destinations. This funding puts us in a strong position for attracting airlines and negotiating favorable terms. Fly Humboldt is continuing to raise additional funds to support our ongoing air service recruitment efforts so that we can provide more flights to more destinations in the future.
