PG&E power outage Sunday morning UPDATE

The power began shutting down in Humboldt County last night at (10-26-2019) at about 9:30 pm. PG&E still estimates the weather “All clear” time will be today at 4 pm. Again, this is the time that PG&E will be able to start inspecting lines in preparation for power restoration. It could take up to 48 daylight hours from the weather “All clear” time until power is restored. Remember, all times are estimates provided by PG&E and are subject to change.
There are numerous Community Resource Centers throughout the County that are operational today and allow for charging of small devices and medical equipment. Below is an updated list of those CRC locations that are confirmed operational at this time, updates will be provided as other locations are confirmed operational:
Arcata Community Center - 321 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Arcata
· Sunday, Oct. 27 - 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
United Indian Health Services – 1600 Weeot Way, Arcata
· Sunday, Oct. 27 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Eureka Municipal Auditorium - 1120 F St, Eureka (Must bring your own charging cable)
· Sunday, Oct. 27 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Humboldt Bay Fire Bode Classroom “Medical Device Charging Station” – 3030 L St., Eureka
· Sunday, Oct. 27 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ferndale Fire Department - 436 Brown St., Ferndale (staff on hand to evaluate medical and safety needs of residents)
· Sunday, Oct. 27 - 8 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m.
