[ARCHIVED] Revised dates for Housing Element workshop and public hearing

The Planning Commission workshop and public hearing for the 2019 Housing Element have been rescheduled due to the number of scheduled agenda items.

The Planning Commission workshop will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 6 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can begin. The Planning Commission public workshop will be held in the Board of Supervisors' Chamber, Humboldt County Courthouse, 825 Fifth Street, Eureka, California. At this workshop the Planning Commission will receive and discuss background information regarding the county’s upcoming 2019 Housing Element Update including new State Housing Element law, and the adopted 2019 Regional Housing Needs Assessment Plan (RHNAP). All members of the public are encouraged to attend.

The Planning Commission public hearing will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 6 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can begin. The Planning Commission public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors' Chamber, Humboldt County Courthouse, 825 Fifth Street, Eureka, California. At the public hearing the Planning Commission will consider the 2019 Housing Element. The Housing Element is a series of goals, policies, standards, and implementation measures for the preservation, improvement, and development of housing, would apply throughout the unincorporated areas of Humboldt County. It meets details requirements of state housing element. All members of the public are encouraged to attend.
