The California COVID-19 emergency $0 bail schedule will end tomorrow, June 20.
The Judicial Council of California voted June 10 to end the emergency schedule and the Chief Justice rescinded her statewide order extending time for defendants to be arraigned so that defendants would again be required to be arraigned within 48 hours.
“The Humboldt County Correctional Facility will continue to adhere to the State Judicial Council in accordance with the local Humboldt County Superior Court,” Humboldt County Correctional Facility Captain Duane Christian said. “We will continue to set bail as determined by the courts and facilitate adhering to the 48-hour time frame for individuals to be arraigned.”
