McKinleyville stolen motorcycle arrest

On Oct. 29, 2021, at about 1:05 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol in the area of Highway 101 near School Road observed a motorcycle that had been reported stolen out of Arcata.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the motorcycle on the 1700 block of Anderson Road in McKinleyville. The driver, 26-year-old Brandon Wade Breslin, was taken into custody for possession of the stolen motorcycle. During a search of Breslin incident to arrest, deputies located pepper spray.

Breslin was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle (PC 496D(A)) and felon in possession of tear gas (PC 22810(A)), in addition to warrant charges of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse (PC 273.5(A)) and violation of probation.
