The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to locate a Humboldt County Correctional Facility (HCCF) inmate who walked away from an inmate work crew this afternoon.
On June 3, 2019, at about 1:10 p.m., HCCF inmate Corey James Allmon, 25, was discovered missing from an inmate work crew during a routine headcount. Allmon had been working on a crew that was performing maintenance on the Hikshari Trail near Truesdale Street in Eureka at the time of his disappearance. It is believed that Allmon may have headed south on the trail towards Hilfiker Lane.
Allmon is described as a black male adult, 6 feet 2 inches tall, approximately 190 pounds, medium build, with short black hair and brown eyes. Allmon was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a white undershirt, blue jeans and black boots.
Anyone who sees Allmon should contact 9-1-1. Anyone with information regarding Allmon’s possible whereabouts should contact the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251.
