On 04-08-17, Deputies from
the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office were on patrol in the 100 block of Empire
Avenue, Redway when they noticed silver colored Toyota Tacoma parked partially
in the roadway. Deputies learned prior
to approaching the vehicle the registered owner of the vehicle had a warrant
for his arrest for being a Felon in Possession of Ammunition. As deputies approached the vehicle, they
noticed a male subject later identified as Shadrach Lamoureux asleep in the
driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Deputies made contact with
Lamoureux who admitted to having a handgun in his waistband. Deputies removed
the loaded firearm from his waistband and Lamoureux was detained. Deputies
located an additional loaded firearm in his coat pocket and another firearm
stuffed between the passenger seat and center console.
Lamoureux was consequently
arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he
was to be booked for the warrant and the following charges: PC 29800(a) Felon
in Possession of a Firearm, PC 25400(a) Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and PC
