Forest fires in northern Humboldt County are affecting road conditions for Bald Hills Road, which connects Weitchpec and Orick. Pending a decision from authorities, the road may be completely closed soon. The fire is east of the Redwood National Park boundary, near post mile marker 21. This alert will be updated when we have more information.
