July 13, 2021 - 1 Death, 16 New Cases Reported Today

A Humboldt County resident in their 70s has died with COVID-19, marking the 52nd virus-related death in the county. The staff of the Departmental Operations Center share their sympathies with the person’s family, friends and caregivers.

Sixteen new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the county today. One new hospitalization of a person in their 70s was also reported. The total number of residents who have tested positive for the virus is now 4,691.

Since the beginning of July, the county has recorded two virus-related deaths. Last month, seven deaths were recorded, the same number as January 2021 and the second highest since December 2020, before vaccines were widely available.
