Humboldt County Public Works will be replacing a culvert on Kneeland Road, approximately 5 miles south of the Kneeland Airport turnoff. Construction will be October 9 through October 11. Although the road will not be closed, delays could be as long as 3 hours.
This project is being funded by SB1, the Rebuilding California gas tax. This project, and many more like it, could be in jeopardy this coming election. Proposition 6, a repeal of SB1, is on the November ballot. We ask that you read information on what SB1 provides and what Proposition 6 means to the future of construction projects, even in Humboldt County.
