The Humboldt County Department of Public Works is utilizing Measure Z funds to work with Sierra Nevada Construction, Inc. and resurface county roads in the Eureka, McKinleyville and Willow Creek areas on May 17, 18, 19, and 22. This work was previously scheduled to begin today, howeer, due to rain the schedule has changed.
Temporary road closures or restrictions to travel and traffic, including bicycles, will be required between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the following days and locations:
Wednesday, May 17th
Willow Creek
Country Club Road (1 lane traffic) from US 299 to Patterson Road.
Patterson Road (1 lane traffic) from Country Club Road to Big Foot Avenue.
Big Foot Avenue (1 lane traffic) from Patterson Road to End.
Thursday, May 18th
Willow Creek
Country Club Road (1 lane traffic) from US 299 to Patterson Road.
Patterson Road (1 lane traffic) from Country Club Road to Big Foot Avenue.
Big Foot Avenue (1 lane traffic) from Patterson Road to End.
Friday, May 19th
McKinleyville
Railroad Avenue from Central Avenue to McKinleyville Avenue.
Washington Avenue from School Road to McKinleyville Avenue.
Stevens Way from Picket Road to Gwin Road.
Saturday, May 20th
Myrtletown Eureka Area
Jersey Avenue from Pennsylvania Avenue to Erie Street.
Erie Street from Jersey Avenue to Ohio Street.
Ohio Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Erie Street.
Stallion Court from Wrangler Ct. to end.
Chanterelle Drive East from Heartwood Dr. to back of loop.

Cliff Avenue from Ocean Drive to Hiller Road.
Hiller Road from Pickett Road to Central Avenue.
Picket Road from Central Avenue to the End.
