The Humboldt County Department of Public Works working with American Pavement Systems, Inc. will be resurfacing County roads in the McKinleyville and Willow Creek areas on May 16, 17, 18 and 19. These projects are all being funded by Measure Z, the local half-cent sales tax passed by voters in 2014.
Temporary road closures or restrictions to travel and traffic, including bicycles, will be required between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the following days and locations:
Tuesday, May 16th
Willow Creek
Country Club Road from US Highway 299 to Patterson Road.
Patterson Road from Country Club Road to Big Foot Avenue.
Big Foot Avenue from Patterson Road to the end.
Wednesday, May 17th
Willow Creek
Country Club Road from US Highway 299 to Patterson Road.
Patterson Road from Country Club Road to Big Foot Avenue.
Big Foot Avenue from Patterson Road to the end.
Thursday, May 18th
McKinleyville
Railroad Avenue from Central Avenue to McKinleyville Avenue.
Washington Avenue from McKinleyville Avenue to School Avenue.
Stevens Way from Pickett Road to Gwin Road.
Friday, May 19th
McKinleyville
Cliff Avenue from Ocean Drive to Hiller Road.
Hiller Road from Central Avenue to Pickett Road.
Pickett Road from Central Avenue to Hiller Road.
