On Nov. 18, 2021, at about 4:59 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Aldergrove Road, in the county’s jurisdiction of Arcata, for the report of a suspicious vehicle parked along the roadway.

Deputies arrived and observed a male, later identified as 47-year-old Jason Quinton Miller, exiting an area that had been marked as private property. Deputies contacted Miller and learned that he had an extraditable warrant for his arrest out of Oklahoma. Miller was taken into custody for his warrant without incident.

Miller was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on a fugitive from justice warrant (PC 1551(a)) and is awaiting extradition.
