The second installment of 2019-2020 property taxes are due today. People who cannot make the deadline because of demonstrated economic hardship due to COVID-19 may still send payment between April 11 and June 10, 2020, without late penalties by filling out the “Affidavit for Penalty Exemption Due to COVID-19” form found at: humboldtgov.org/2088/Property-Tax-Information or attached here (PDF form). Exemptions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
