A special meeting of the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors has been scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 22 at 1 p.m.
The meeting agenda includes several items, including the consent calendar, from the Board's meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 20, which was cancelled due to the due to the 6.4M earthquake that struck the county.
Supervisor Virginia Bass, Clerk, Recorder and Registrar of Voters Kelly Sanders, and Assessor Mari Wilson’s retirements will be acknowledged and the ratification of the local emergency declared for the 6.4 magnitude earthquake are on the agenda. The public hearings scheduled for the cancelled meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Dec, 20 will be re-noticed and scheduled for a future meeting date, as will the closed session item.
