The County of Humboldt will host the next Humboldt County Earthquake Recovery Town Hall on Thursday, March 2.
Earthquake Recovery Town Hall
The County of Humboldt, City of Rio Dell and the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) continue to work in partnership on long-term recovery efforts, with the goal of ending earthquake-related displacement being the shared priority.
The county is coordinating with nonprofit organizations to aid those most impacted by the recent earthquakes and begin the rebuilding process. Details regarding the community’s efforts toward long term recovery will be the focus of the upcoming Earthquake Recovery Town Hall taking place on Thursday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m.
This virtual Town Hall will be opened by Senate Majority Leader Mike McGuire. State and local leaders will then discuss on-going actions being taken to move long-term recovery efforts forward and provide a comprehensive briefing on services that may be available for low-income households experiencing earthquake related displacement.
