Interested in learning what people have to say about how Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funding can benefit our community?
On Friday, Feb. 25, there will be a presentation from noon to 1 p.m. detailing the MHSA Community Program Planning Process that has taken place over the past three years.
In 2004, California voters approved Proposition 63, or MHSA, which placed a 1 percent tax on personal incomes in excess of $1 million. This revenue is used to develop and support local mental health programs for children, youth, adults and older adults.
The presentation will include a summary of the input recently gathered for the 2022-2023 Annual Update as well as the input for the 2021-2022 Annual Update and the 2020-2023 Three Year Plan.
