The thirteenth COVID-related death was reported today along with 26 additional cases of the virus. The total number of county residents who have tested positive for the virus now stands at 1,321.
The individual who died was in their 80s and a resident of Granada Rehabilitation and Wellness Center at the time of their death. Public Health staff extends their condolences to the friends and loved ones of this person.
Today, Humboldt County surpassed the 50,000 COVID-19 test mark. This milestone is a testament to local efforts to build testing capacity and the willingness of community residents to protect their families and neighbors by getting tested for COVID-19.
