Humboldt County’s total COVID-19 case count now stands at 534, after one new case was reported today.
In related news, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) today released information on safer alternatives to traditional Halloween and Día de los Muertos celebrations. Californians are encouraged to plan lower-risk activities like physically distanced costume parades rather than high-risk events and parties. CDPH strongly discourages traditional trick-or-treating as it encourages congregating and mixing of many different households.
