June 18, 2020 - Dr. Teresa Frankovich talks about the new masking mandate for California

Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich talks about the new masking mandate for the State of California.

State guidance states facial coverings are to be worn: any time you interact with someone you don't live with, if you work near others, when visiting an indoor public space, when waiting in line, when getting health care, and while using public transpiration or ride-sharing.

State guidance states facial coverings are not required for: children under 2, people with respiratory issues, anyone unable to remove mask without help. It's okay to take off facial coverings to eat/drink, if a hearing-impaired person needs to read your lips, and while exercising away from others.
