DESCRIPTION:Humboldt Bay is experiencing the highest rate of relative sea 
 level rise on the west coast and is particularly susceptible to Tsunami I
 mpacts.  Rising seas could result in recurring flood events affecting lar
 ge areas of the Humboldt Bay region.  Tsunamis also pose a significant th
 reat to people and development around Humboldt Bay.  The workshop will pr
 ovide  information on Sea Level Rise and Tsunami risks in the Humboldt Ba
 y area\, and present draft policies that could be adopted to address thos
