Led by Eleanor Huber, this group is open to people interested in the fiber arts or needleworking of any kind, be it knitting, crochet, darning, lacework or any textile craft. This group creates magic out of simple thread or yarn. It is open to all age groups and genders. (Don't be a shy guy. Come on in.) Drop by to mingle and work with some very experienced needle workers and enjoy the advantage of others' knowhow.

Story time is a great activity for children. Children who often hear stories read aloud learn how to listen, learn more words and how to use them, and absorb new facts and ideas. In the adventure of story, kids also grow in imagination, problem-solving and creativity. Kids love to notice details in the pictures that tell parts of the story not found in the words, and they love to guess what might happen next!

Stop by on Tuesday afternoon to hear books read aloud after school! We're starting with 'The Pagemaster' by David Kirschner. This is an illustrated chapter book for students about a boy who gets locked inside a library and goes on quite the adventure with 3 books that become best friends.
