Narcan can reverse an opioid overdose in minutes. It's something we hope we never have to use, but knowing how to use it could save a life. Members of the Yurok Tribe Wellness Coalition will be on hand to train participants in the 'S.C.A.R.E.M.E.'* tactic for identifying and reversing an opioid overdose. You can also receive an opioid reversal kit with two doses of Narcan, rubber gloves, CPR mask and instructions, as well as fentanyl test strips, educational materials and other harm reduction supplies. *Note* - there's nothing scary about using Narcan! What is scary is when a human life is in danger, but you don't have Narcan or don't know how to use it.
