This anthology is a rare, sweet, and imaginative team effort by women from India and Australia to create culture-bending stories that expand their perception of their own cultures. According to the editors, the collection is for 14 year-olds and up, and "embraces the idea of not just eating pie but of taking big, hungry mouthfuls of life and embracing the world." Eureka's Poet Laureate, Wil Gibson, will host the remaining two poetry workshops in this series, taking off from Muhammad Ali's dance with contradictions and his singular mystique. Free yourself to write with poetry magic from Gibson, then (if you have written something you like) you may want to enter it in the InkPeople art and poetry exhibit focusing on Ali's legacy. Later, there will be an anti-racist activism discussion as well (see link for date and details). All events in this series follow September's PBS documentary series 'Muhammad Ali' by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns, and David McMahon.
