Libraries are Closed in Celebration of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

All Humboldt County Libraries and the Bookmobile are closed on Thursday November 23 and Friday November 24. Those libraries that usually stay open late on Wednesdays will also close at 5:00 PM the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Feasts to celebrate and be thankful for the harvest are celebrated around the world. 

Now is a good time to thank your favorite local farmer! If that's not your very own family gardener, you can find a list of local farmers at the North Coast Growers Association website, or visit the Arcata Farmers' Market (the only farmers' market that stays open all year around in our county.)
