Wireless Internet
is available whenever the library is open. No password is necessary to use this free public internet access.
Scanning Documents
Scanning is available from the library's copy machine. Bring a USB drive (AKA flash drive, thumb stick) to save your document. If you wish to email the document, take your flash drive to a computer.
Video Magnifier
McKinleyville Library now offers you the opportunity to use a video magnifier while you are in the library.
The Optelec Jr. Video Magnifier can magnify words and photos.
Just slip your book under the built-in video camera and turn a knob to magnify the print to any size you want. Then read from the screen facing you.
The video magnifier was generously donated by a member of the community. If you prefer, you can call to make an advance reservation to use it, or just stop by.
You can participate in volunteer activities, or simply support the Library by joining.
The Humboldt Library Foundation
The public library is the gateway to explore the world, spark the imagination, launch young minds or simply answer a question.
You can help ensure our library will continue to inspire and meet the needs of the future by supporting the Humboldt Library Foundation.
