Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I donate books or other items now?

We are not accepting any materials donations at this time due to our health and safety plan.

Normally, donations are accepted by volunteers from the Friends of the Library, who sort the items into usable and unusable groups. Donations not chosen for the library collection may be sold to raise money for library projects. Volunteers are rarely at the library right now, and none of this can happen until they are able to return on a regular basis.

Thank you for thinking of us when your books need a new home. Please keep them somewhere safe and dry if you would like them to be in good condition for donation in the future!
