The Humboldt County Planning and Building Department is currently closed due to a crash that shut off power, telephone and internet connectivity to the building. While power has been restored, the fiber optic cable is still disconnected to the building and phones are down and there is no internet. Planning and Building is hopeful the connection will be restored by tomorrow allowing the department to open.
