It's Pony Express Days in McKinleyville! Friday evening, June 1, the Chili Cook-off happens from 5:30-7:30 at Pierson Park and Azalea Hall (there's a bake sale too!) Saturday, the Book Sale starts at 10:00 AM at the Library. The parade starts at 11:00 AM at Murray and Central Ave. and proceeds south on Central Ave to School Road. There's still time to go find books after the parade ends if you didn't get there early, and there are vendors in the park after the parade.
