Today's special guest speaker for this month is local Southern Humboldt Reiki teacher Carla Yvonne. Join the discussion as we learn about the art of Reiki. Reiki is a Japanese technique that helps people lower stress, relax, and heal, through gentle and respectful touch. This Adult Story Time happens on the fourth Saturday of each month, It's set up for people 60 and older, but all adults are welcome. Join us for stories read aloud, a craft project or special guest, and possibly some movement exercises, if folks are in the mood for them.

4th Saturday at 11:00 AM

Story time is a great activity for people at any age. Listening to stories read aloud exercises your brain, imagination, short-term memory and listening skills. Hearing a story is both relaxing and stimulating. It doesn't tire your eyes or your hands, and it's a pleasure to share a story with others.

Most of all, it's fun!
