Saturday story time activities may last from 45 minutes to an hour. They take place before the library opens for ordinary business. This is a regular weekly event on the first 3 Saturdays of each month through the Spring season.

On the first 3 Saturdays of each month, Saturday Story Time welcomes children 12 and under who come with a parent or guardian. Enjoy stories, craft projects and sometimes dancing at this child-centered event that happens each Saturday before the library opens for other activities.

First 3 Saturdays of each month. Story time is a great activity for children. Children who often hear stories read aloud learn how to listen, learn more words and how to use them, and absorb new facts and ideas. In the adventure of story, kids also grow in imagination, problem-solving and creativity. Kids who listen to stories are better prepared for life and school. Story time at the library builds a child's fascination with reading and teaches skills that can be a lifelong advantage.
Most of all, it's fun!
