This not-for-credit class is an introduction to decision-making and problem-solving techniques in the workplace. Specific strategies for making decisions and solving problems will be presented, as well as the use of creativity in identifying solutions.

Learn how to solve problems at work and in your life!

WORK 225 is a class focused on problem solving techniques, these can be applied to problems in the workplace or in private life. The class is focused on collaborative problem-solving, so students work together to make decisions and respond to problems.
The outcomes of the class (what students could learn) are:
1. Identify problem-solving and decision-making techniques
2. Differentiate between the elements involved in individual decision-making and group decision-making
3. Identify barriers to creative and effective problem-solving
