Every Saturday! Rio Dell Library's Story time on the Porch will meet each Saturday until October 29th, weather permitting. After story time, at 11:00 AM, the library opens and you can come in to check out stories to take home, if you like.

Story time is a great activity for children. Children who often hear stories read aloud learn how to listen, learn more words and how to use them, and absorb new facts and ideas. In the adventure of story, kids also grow in imagination, problem-solving and creativity. Kids who listen to stories are better prepared for life and school. Story time at the library builds a child's fascination with reading and teaches skills that can be a lifelong advantage.
Most of all, it's fun!
