Children's Storytime on Saturday, December 10 will be our last Storytime for 2022. The fun begins at 11:00 AM with stories read by Henry Wilson, and Garbo the excellent story-listening dog! We will also be making snowmen in the library. It's true. Be sure to wear a jacket! Children 12 and under and their parents or care givers are always invited to join us for story time.

With Guest Reader 11 year old Henry Wilson, who will be reading to our canine guest of the day, Garbo, a certified therapy dog, and her trainer, Deborah Lake., among others.
Garbo has won an enormous amount of medals and awards for her excellent behavior and her proficiency at finding hidden things and racing through obstacle courses, but today she's just going to relax and listen to stories! Come meet Garbo, Deborah and Henry on this Saturday.

Story time is a great activity for children. Children who often hear stories read aloud learn how to listen, learn more words and how to use them, and absorb new facts and ideas. In the adventure of story, kids also grow in imagination, problem-solving and creativity. Kids who listen to stories are better prepared for life and school. Story time at the library builds a child's fascination with reading and teaches skills that can be a lifelong advantage.
Most of all, it's fun!
