10:00 AM, Find Your Inner Fairy with Shoshanna, a Family Literacy Party (Zoom)
Thursday, January 27, 2022
Fairies of all ages are invited to create their own Fairy or Elf house while listening to stories. Follow your own Fairy Path to find out what kind of magic you can weave in your community. Are you a Water Fairy? Spring? Fire? Snow? Sparkle? Dragon? Or are you a Gardening Fairy? Maybe you're an Engineering Fairy? Space Fairy? Animal Fairy? Join local fairy, dancer, and party planner Shoshanna to find out.

- Shoshanna is the Kinetic Fairy Princess (and Arcata’s Halloween Fairy and Snowflake Queen!) She loves to encourage creative thinking and problem-solving with upcycled treasures.
- Get ready for the program by scouting your home for items like a paper plate/bowl/cup, pompoms, fabric bits, beads, straws, sparkly jewels, small cardboard tubes, foil, pipe cleaners, tiny boxes, ribbons, twisty ties, springs, broken jewelry, lids, and other fun bits and pieces!
- You can use hot glue (with help), glue, tape, string, rubber bands, clay, or play dough to connect things.
