Everyone Wears a Mask in the Library, Starting Friday, July 30, 2021
Friday, July 30, 2021
For your safety and that of others, you must wear a face mask in the library. Whether you are vaccinated or not, all staff and members of the public are again required to wear a mask while inside libraries and other county facilities. This applies to all people age 2 and up – even if you’re fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
County Requires Masks Indoors
Now that universal masking in indoor public settings is recommended by
- the Centers for Disease Control (CDC),
- California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and
- Humboldt County Public Health,
the County again REQUIRES masks to be worn inside libraries and other County facilities.
When everyone masks in public, it helps to prevent the spread of Covid-19, especially in places where lots of people are getting sick, like they are here. Read about the County's decision to return to masks.
