7:00 PM, Spooky Cat Stories with Ross Mackinney, a Family Literacy Party (Zoom)

Wednesday, October 28, 2020

Ready for a few chills? Ross Mackinney tells (slightly) spooky cat stories and shares storytelling tips at a Family Literacy Party presented via Zoom. Family Literacy Parties celebrate the joy of sharing songs and stories with families and friends and inspire people of all ages and abilities to learn and have fun together. Children and the grownups who love them are invited to listen to stories, play literacy games, and learn about storytelling. Bring your cat, or dress as one, and come prepared to have fun. Ross Mackinney has been juggling, telling stories, and studying folklore since his youth. He studied Celtic Folklore at UC Berkeley, and in Wales, where he performed at local festivals and for the BBC television and radio.
