Join James and Laura Wasserman for a program based on their new book, 'Who Saved the Redwoods? The Unsung Heroines of the 1920s Who Fought for Our Redwood Forests'. Learn about the Women's Save the Redwoods League of Humboldt County (800 strong!) and the goals, tactics, and successful efforts to preserve the redwoods that are now recognized as crucial to our region's natural beauty, healthy ecosystem, and sense of place.
